Undercurrents album

NEW ALBUM

Undercurrents

OUT NOW

Undercurrents is Pippa’s second album of solo harp repertoire. With this release she is concentrating on producing music on the Scottish lever harp, an instrument not normally associated with minimalist compositions.

Pippa writes contemporary music that is infused with minimalist elements. This album is a collection of musical soundscapes designed to evoke strong feelings, uplift the spirit, and provide moments of reflection within a hectic world.

Pippa uses music as a haven and a platform for self-expression. Her compositions reveal a strong emotional connection with the environment and create a meaningful experience for the listener.

The album was recorded by Jamie Smith at the incredibly inspiring and atmospheric St Mary’s Space in Fasnacloich, Appin. Jamie also produced the CD, which was mastered at LOUD Mastering in Taunton.

“A wonderful collection of human thought that airs and pulls the listener to a place of wonder, the undercurrent of life being a more stirring place to explore than the excess of crested wave.”

Turning Tides

The tide turns, the melody sways. In the turning tides of mental health’s embrace. I discover a sanctuary that heals both body and mind. It captures the rhythm of the waves and the ebb and flow of life’s challenges.
