For both religious and civil weddings music can be played at the following points of the ceremony: the arrival of the guests, the processional (bridal entry), the signing of the register, the recessional, and for the departure of guests. Additional wedding packages include options for music for up to two hours during your drinks reception or meal.
Pippa’s repertoire is extensive and includes many popular tunes. She is happy to discuss and advise on suitable music for the occasion. If you have a favourite tune you would like played I will do my best to arrange it for the harp. Although the Celtic harp does not have the same chromatic range as the classical pedal harp, many classical and popular pieces can still be accommodated. If a requested piece of music is suitable for the Scottish harp Pippa will require four weaks’ notice to arrange and prepare it.
My fee includes the arrangement of one tune of your choice, the others being chosen from my extensive repertoire list. If you do wish another tune to be arranged I am happy to do this but there will be a further fee.
For background entertainment a 1 to 2 hour selection of Scottish music, modern music and film music is available. This wide-ranging Scottish and modern repertoire provides a wide variation in tempos, dynamics and emotions.

“My husband and I booked Pippa to play at our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Pippa’s music was beautiful. She played my Dad and I down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon, while we signed the Register to some amazing Ludovico Einaudi and then Pippa played my husband and I out of the Church to Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. At the hotel, Pippa then provided background music for the arrival of our guests at the reception. So while our photographs were taken and our guests sipped some fizz - the sound of the harp music and the wide repertoire of music Pippa had to offer was an additional perfect touch for us.”
